Our Waste Education Program is linked to the Australian Curriculum and focuses on:

minimising waste to landfill,

how littering affects our environment and waterways

products made from natural resources that can be recycled

products made from recycled materials (closing the loop)

We also run a fun school competition Waste-Ed Art with winning entries being displayed on the sides of our litter truck for a year - entries now open! Ask your school to contact Council's Waste Education Officer to find out more about our popular school programs.
