Education

Schools and Community Groups

The Glenorchy City Council has a dedicated Waste Education Officer offering free waste education visits to schools in the municipal area. Additionally, workshops and demonstrations and talks are available to community groups and educational organisations.

Beyond educational workshops and visits, the Waste Educational Program also drives community initiatives such as Keep Australia Beautiful Awards, Clean Up Australia Day, Mobile Muster collection and other waste initiatives.

If you would like to book a visit for your school or community organisation, or if you have any additional questions please contact Danielle Hall, Waste Education Officer, Glenorchy City Council on 03 6216 6765 or www.gcc.tas.gov.au
